Check in, grab a coffee, hit the range if you want to pretend you practice.

Back to your afternoon, allegedly to work.

The Course

Nobleton Lakes Golf Club

Twenty-seven holes in the King Township countryside, about 40 minutes north of downtown Toronto. Three distinct nines, The Woods, The Lakes, and The View, wind through tree-lined fairways, water hazards, and some genuinely dramatic elevation changes.

It is a proper course: island greens, doglegs, sloped putting surfaces, and enough bunkers to keep things honest. Carts are included, so save your energy for the swing.

Nobleton Lakes is Laura Thornton’s club, and she has graciously organized our spots for the day. Thank her on the patio.
